ARTIST STATEMENT
My work begins with family. My father and sister opened the door to art, then life pulled me in and out of it. During pregnancy, I found my way back to the studio, and that return made the path clear. Painting is now my full-time calling.

I paint memory as a landscape. Light and feeling meet on the canvas. Wide blue skies keep returning because they still mean freedom. Water, fields, and distant roofs hold time and its quiet changes. Hope and fragility sit together. Loss can clear a horizon. Joy can widen the sky.

Each piece grows from observation into reflection. Forms soften, edges drift, and space asks for slow looking. These chapters from many years of borrowed light and patient brushstrokes are gathering now into a quiet online gallery for you to walk through.
